Program of the Europride in Marseille in July 2013
The biggest LGBT international event organized in Europe, the Europride, will take place in Marseille from July 10th to 20th 2013. You will be able to attend a militant, artistic and cultural program during 10 days at the Friche de la Belle de Mai and the Docks des Suds. Marseille has the ambition to become the new LGBT European capital.
In 2013, the Europride will celebrate its twenty years of militancy.
On the agenda of the 2013 edition of the Europride in Marseille:
– An opening ceremony the 10th of July 2013, on the J4 Esplanade, and the inauguration of the Europride Park in the Friche de la Belle de Mai, which will be the center of the event.
– An opening outdoor concert on the theme of « Twenty years of House Music, twenty years of Europride » on the MuCEM esplanade with Fatboy Slim and The Young Professionals.
– Daily conferences, meetings and working groups
– Cultural events in different places
– A gender cinema festival
– The « Europride Off » Festival
– One « Europride Club » every night at the Docks des Suds
– The Europride 2013 beach
– A free closing ceremony with a concert on July, 20th . This concert will gather several international artists at the Gaston Defferre beach at the Prado.
– The Europride Walk on July, 20th with a departure at 14h from the Vieux Port to the Prado beach with a giant free concert.
